Have you ever taken an art class or something else that teaches creative pursuits? Have you ever poured you heart and soul into a piece that was judged critically? How does that work? Well, it doesn't.
Creativity itself is a raw form of human expression, it cannot be judged. The beholder of creative work may have an opinion of it, but that is all subjective to their reality. This is why those who create are not usually competitive, because it becomes clear early on that whatever they create brings themselves the most joy, rather than others.
Creatives want to complete a project for a personal sense of achievement rather than a desire to be better than other creatives. Isn't that what life should really be about? Considering that creating can take endless forms, if everyone was treating life this way, I think we'd all enjoy a more harmonious world.
What will you create and achieve today?
