Side hustle or main hustle?

So because I had surgery recently I am stuck at home. The timing is actually perfect for working on my side hustle while I have time off from my day job. But it has started to occur to me that this is unsustainable. Why? Because of the momentum I have built I have enough work to keep me going full time. All the work but none of the security of my day job. Yet it doesn't feel like work like my day job does. This is where the hard questions start to arise in my mind. What is the plan?

Starting is the hardest part but I fear stopping may be even harder, balancing all of this with other commitments, family and downtime will not be easy, but I suppose rest is for the dead.
