My mother read some of this Dr Seuss book at my wedding. I chose it especially for her because she was so weird and wonderful. Mum passed away a few years later and I miss her dearly. The words of this story echo in my ears. they are so true for all of us.
And look where I am. Doing what I love. What I wouldn't give to show her. I sometimes miss that sense of self pride that is initiated by your parents pride. Yet somehow I still feel it anyway.
