Following your (actual) dreams

I don't know about you, but I am quite a vivid and visual style dreamer. My dreams are hyperrealistic and very intense. So multidimensional that I can barely recall all of the details, but so incredibly captivating when I am in them.

Dream content holds nuggets of creative genius. Short of taking some kind of drug like LSD, your dreams access a part of your subconscious that is rarely available to you during wakeful hours. But how do you access it for your work?

Tell yourself before you go to bed that you will be remembering your dreams, even ask your subconscious to let you know when you are dreaming so you can 'watch'. Keep a notepad and pen or laptop handy. This may or may not work, but the couple of times it has worked for me has been very inspiring and productive because I'm tapping in to something I've already thought and the rest flows naturally to me.

Dream content creation. Try it.
